We are looking for an expert in-house SEO Specialist to develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive targeted traffic, and increase conversion rates for the products and brands within our portfolio of software and payments businesses. This role involves keyword research, link building, competitor analysis, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.

You will be a team player, working closely with the wider marketing/digital function, to develop high performing websites that deliver enhanced traffic, leads and conversions

Key Accountabilities:

  • Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for optimization across various industries.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
  • Competitor Analysis: Perform detailed competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify gaps in SEO strategies.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking structures to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Off-Page Optimization: Manage off-page factors including backlink profiles and social signals to improve overall SEO performance.
  • Technical SEO: Implement technical SEO improvements such as site audits, page speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, and schema markup.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize content that supports SEO goals and drives engagement.
  • SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and rectify issues affecting search engine rankings.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other relevant platforms.
  • Reporting: Generate and present regular performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Team Oversight: Oversee and mentor future SEO executives and divisional representatives, ensuring alignment with overall SEO strategy and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with web developers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital efforts.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to keep the company's SEO strategies current and effective.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and refine SEO strategies tailored to the unique needs of each software company within the group.

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B SEO role
  • Proficiency and expertise in technical, on-page and off-page SEO
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns/sites/brands and delivering strong growth
  • Advanced proficiency in SEO tools, such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO
