The role
The duties of the Assistant Accountant will include:
- Weekly 8-week Cashflow forecast;
- Monthly reporting to Group Controller for each country within the respective regions, including analysis versus budget, forecast etc.
- Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations,
- Supporting any other business planning cycle deliverables
- Ensuring tax, statutory and legal compliance
- Continuous improvement of all processes in close cooperation with other departments
- Lead and improve the monthly intercompany reconciliation process with the support of colleagues within the Financial Administration team
- Lead and design an effective approach to business partnering across the wider business including marketing and general administration
- Support the Financial Controller as required with analysis and projects.

The Person
The requirements for this Assistant Accountant role are as follows:
- Experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role
- Part qualified and actively studying
- Strong systems and Excel skills are essential
- A strong communicator who is comfortable liaising with other departments
- Ambitious and eager to progress as the role evolves
