Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a multi-national manufacturer of fluid control products based in the Kingswinford area.
Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an additional Design Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for innovation, design and development of new and existing products.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
- Product development from concept to finished product stages with the use of Autodesk Inventor
- Liaising with manufacturing teams to ensure suitability of product designs
- Providing technical support to the sales and marketing teams on new products
- Attending project and design meetings
- Liaising with external suppliers on design related matters
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
- 1+ years of experience within Mechanical design / Product Development
- Experience with fluid control products is advantageous
- Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Inventor but other software experience will be considered.
- Based in a commutable distance of Kingswinford
- Experienced within full product life cycle design
- Knowledge with FEA simulation and stress analysis
- HNC or above in a Mechanical or Design related field
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Full time 37 hour week permanent position.
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00. Friday 08:00 - 15:00
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
