SVP of International Sales

We are currently recruiting for an innovative, science-driven beauty company revolutionising hair care with their patented bond-building technology. Their omnichannel strategy spans Professional, Speciality Retail, and Direct-to-Consumer sales, allowing them to continually expand their global customer base. They're seeking a SVP of International Sales to spearhead their global commercialisation efforts. This role will develop and execute strategies to drive market adoption and revenue growth, manage a cross-functional team, and oversee P&L responsibilities.

They are an innovative, science-enabled, technology-driven beauty company committed to improving hair health. Since disrupting and revolutionising the professional hair care industry in 2014, they've created the bond-building space that protects, strengthens, and rebuilds broken bonds in hair. Their active, patent-protected ingredient works on a molecular level to repair hair from damage. They leverage a synergistic omnichannel strategy through Professional, Speciality Retail, and Direct-to-Consumer sales channels to maintain and expand their customer base globally.

As the SVP of International Sales, you will lead their commercialisation efforts on a global scale, crafting and implementing strategies to boost market adoption and drive revenue growth. This pivotal new role involves heading a cross-functional team with full P&L responsibility for international sales channels, developing a robust commercial infrastructure, and ensuring sustained business expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management

Oversee global sales revenue and profitability.
Continuously track business performance and implement plans to meet or exceed targets.
Lead significant international sales initiatives, ensuring they are well-planned, executed, and yield strong ROI.
Team Leadership & Culture

Enhance the current team through development and training, while recruiting new talent to support expansion.
Collaborate with North American counterparts and channel GMs to ensure unified efforts.
Effectively allocate resources across different functions to optimise performance.
Strategic Planning & Execution

Work with the Executive Leadership Team to create a strategic roadmap for international sales.
Implement strategic plans to foster business growth and achieve set goals.
Convert long-term strategic plans into actionable annual objectives.
Lead the annual strategic planning process for the business.
Develop and implement strategies with the international team to achieve brand and commercial goals.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prior leadership in P&L management.
Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a history of meeting sales goals.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to build and excel in a structured environment.
Visionary thinker with the ability to simplify complex issues into actionable steps.
Strong financial skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
Ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to build a strong, cohesive team culture.
