On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proficient and knowledgeable Finance Planning Analyst to join their team. This role presents an engaging opportunity to lead, cultivate and sustain the organisation's long-term financial plans, model the impact of development and investment programmes on the Business Plan, and assist in the development of the organisation's Assets and Liabilities register. What you'll do:

You will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our client's business. You will be responsible for leading, cultivating, and sustaining long-term financial plans while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise in modelling the impact of development and investment programmes on the Business Plan will be vital in this role. Additionally, you will assist in the development of the organisation's Assets and Liabilities register. Your ability to work methodically, organise effectively, manage colleagues reflectively, train others in financial control systems usage, and provide year-end audit support will contribute significantly to your success in this role.

  • Lead, cultivate and sustain the organisation's long term financial plans
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Model the impact of development and investment programmes and projects on the Business Plan
  • Assist in the development of the organisation's Assets and Liabilities register
  • Cultivate and enhance business process across own areas as part of wider cross functional process development
  • Demonstrate effective time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and gain respect across a range of internal and external customers
  • Train and develop colleagues in the use of financial control systems
  • Provide year end audit support

What you bring:

  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Significant experience of Business Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Financial Planning, budget management and cashflow software
  • Ability to understand and analyse complex financial information
  • Knowledge and understanding of business processes
  • Excellent written and communication skills & Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Business Partnering experience
  • Enthusiasm for taking on new challenges and being a confident self-starter
