Senior Acoustic Consultant
My clients are currently in search of a highly experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to become a valuable addition to their team. The hiring company is an independent consultancy that focuses on providing expertise in architectural and environmental acoustics. This role presents the exciting prospect of contributing to a wide array of projects spanning different sizes and situated in rural, urban, and industrial settings across the United Kingdom.
Key Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in acoustics or a related field and corporate membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
- Experience in conducting onsite surveys and creating technical reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business opportunities and collaborate with colleagues throughout project lifecycles
- Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and construction site managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Collect data for modelling and create reports using AutoCAD
- Conduct noise measurement assessments, sound insulation testing, and 3D noise modelling
- Draft fee proposals for clients and conduct noise and vibration assessments
- Supervise junior employees onsite
