SEND Teacher

Are you a enthusiastic Teacher with a can-do attitude and a clear passion for working with children with SEN? If so, then this Special Needs School in Newport would like to hear more about you!

We are looking for a full time SEN Teacher to work with children with complex needs, and so experience in working with Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome etc would be extremely useful. You will need to have QTS or relevant PGCE qualifications. This role starts from September 2024 and will be full time Monday to Friday term time only.

Reed Education Cardiff have been working with this Special School for years and its one of our favourite clients to work with! It's a mixed, 3-19 Special School that cater for children with a range of physical needs, as well as Autism. It's a fabulous School with state-of-the-art facilities, and it is very easy to get to too via car/public transport. Pay is £157.66+ per day (dependent on experience/PayScale)

This school is big and have a huge number of pupils on roll – meaning they have a lot of staff and therefore lots of opportunity.

A lot of the students here have varied needs and so we are looking for staff who can adapt, change, and vary the curriculum delivery. The School like candidates with a can-do attitude, and who really make an effort to engage their learners and get to know them on a personal level. This is not a school where you can sit back and relax! It's a busy and energetic working environment where there is something going on all of the time. So if a fast pace is what you like, you will love it here.

I am currently recruiting for day to day staff (so you must be available for adhoc shifts and expect phone calls on the day from 7am), but also longer term members of staff too, full time and/or part time.
