Digital Support Apprentice

Employer description:

Strathclyde Sealants specialise in commercial sealant applications and passive fire protection solutions across Scotland. We work on projects of all sizes in commercial and industrial properties and have experience in sectors including social housings, swimming pools and leisure centre, healthcare, education and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact, triaging enquiries by phone and email
  • Use the internal system Connecteam to log new job details, track progress, and monitor employee schedules
  • Update, maintain and upload necessary job documents, pricing details, and task assignments onto our Excel tracker on to shared Google Drive, the main shared area of communication between the team
  • Support financial operations by using SAGE to process client invoices, supplier costs, and general invoicing tasks
  • Manage and organise job documents on Word, collect quotes via Microsoft Excel, and contracts via Google Drive ensuring all online files are updated and accessible for the team
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all payments and records are up to date, using Sage as the primary system to track income and expenses
  • Make travel arrangements for senior staff, including booking flights, cars, hotels, and restaurant reservations via online booking platforms
  • Use Connecteam to facilitate task tracking, manage employee schedules, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Leverage Google Drive for storing and sharing job-related documents, ensuring team collaboration and easy access to information and sharing

£18,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm
