Customer Service Administrator ( Project Based ) (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne - Hybrid once fully trained

Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum DOE

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and supporting impactful projects? Join our team as a Customer Service Administrator/Project Officer and play a crucial role in the successful delivery in one of Newcastle City Council's projects!!

Key Details:

  • Contract Duration: 12 months fixed term
  • Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday
  • Start date - ASAP

Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will support the delivery of the project, ensuring effective management of key client and customer-facing goals. Your role will be integral in providing a best-in-class customer experience throughout all project activities.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Support to Newcastle City Council:

  • Provide day-to-day support and act as the main point of contact for queries related to customer and process issues.
  • Assist the Project team in its daily operations and output.

2. Driving Customer Experience:

  • Collaborate with key contacts across the business to ensure a high level of quality and customer care.
  • Work closely with various parts of the team to manage customer-facing services and back-office functions effectively.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Support the wider team in managing client relationships and ensuring accurate and reliable communication flows.

About You:

  • Strong Background in customer service/administration
  • B2B or dealing with public experience
  • Experience in planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in customer service or project management is advantageous.
