KCR Solutions are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our client, a manufacturing company who are experiencing a period of growth and who are keen to add to their finance team.
Ideally you will be actively studying towards an accountancy qualification and be a driven and ambitious individual. Working closely with the Finance Director this is a great opportunity and will offer progression and responsibility.
Duties to include:
- Monthly management accounts production
- Profit and loss analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor budget performance and provide timely variance analysis
- Present financial data and analysis to management, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Cashbooks
- Accruals and prepayments
- Journal postings
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare weekly job costing reports
- Analyse and report on cost trends, identifying areas for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Monitor KPI's for business and present the same in monthly review meetings
- Producing month end reports
- Dealing with year end processing
- Preparation and reconciliation of quarterly VAT
- Ad-hoc duties as required
THE CANDIDATE
- Part Qualified or a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA or Qualified By Experience
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
