Project Engineer R&D

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our R&D team, filling a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of innovative projects. This position is ideal for an engineer with strong organisational skills and a passion for technology development.
Day to Day of the role:
- Write technical requirements documents and review relevant technical standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, costs, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish project deliverables.
- Conduct hands-on qualification testing and assist customers during field trials.
- Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis as needed.
- Create test reports and quality assurance documentation.
- Work with engineers to produce clear and concise customer documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a new product development environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Multidisciplinary experience across mechanical, electronics, and software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Strong general engineering design knowledge.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Results-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office packages, including Excel and MS Project.
- Effective delegation skills and the ability to work across cross-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of different materials and manufacturing technologies.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally as required.
