- Job Type: Term Time Only, plus four inset days
We are seeking a dedicated School Cover Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cover arrangements for staff absences and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within the school. This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Day to Day of the role:
- Coordinating cover for absent teachers and organising timetables accordingly.
- Liaising with supply agencies and staff to arrange cover.
- Managing administrative tasks related to cover, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Assisting with the preparation of resources and materials as needed.
- Providing front desk support and handling queries from staff, students, and visitors.
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using school management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
