A longstanding IT Solutions and Professional Services Provider has an exciting new opening for an Infrastructure Engineer to join them in London, on a hybrid basis, deploying the infrastructure of high-profile customers. This business partners with leading tech vendors such as Microsoft, and offer a plethora of services and solutions across IT, Security, and Digital Transformation. Their customer base increases yearly, leading them to where they are today, one of the UK's best rated MSPs with an extensive list of clients in the local area and further afield.
Your role as an IT Project Engineer will see you undertake high-level IT Infrastructure tasks and project work surrounding Servers, Cloud, Storage, Networking, Cyber Security, and Desktops. You will design, migrate, upgrade, and maintain customers' IT Infrastructure and Networks. You will undertake project management duties to some extent, however this role remains predominantly hands on.
What this Position Entails:
- Project lead for new deployments, migrations, and upgrades
- Optimising and improving existing IT Infrastructure
- Designing Infrastructure and Systems based off requirements
- IT Security implementations
- Process Automation
- Acting as a 3rd line escalation point
Key Skills:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows Server 2016 - 2022
- Cloud - Azure, GCP, AWS
- PowerShell
- Storage management (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Cloud)
- Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
- Networking and Security (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Previous MSP experience desirable
