We're expanding our team of fragrance testers based near Tesco and Costco in Southall and invite you to join us in evaluating fragrances.
What's it all about?
We run a panel of 30 sensory testers that evaluate the smell of household products every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The aim of the panel is to provide feedback on the effectiveness of the product so products can be improved upon. This is done on our client's site very near Tesco/Costco in Southall, and each year we advertise an opportunity to join this team. The panel operates on Tues, Weds, and Thurs for a maximum of an hour each day, and runs in multiple sessions from 1.45 pm – 5 pm. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and describe the scents of fragranced consumer goods, including perfumes, cosmetics, and household products.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills and a team player mentality
- Ability to follow English instructions with minimal supervision
- Basic computer literacy
- Smartphone ownership
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work will be verified)
Job Details:
- Site attendance required at our Southall offices near Costco Hayes on Tues, Wed, or Thurs for a maximum of 1 hour per day.
- Session slots available between 1.45 pm to 5.00 pm (max 1 hour per slot).
- Initial training period lasts up to three months, and we ask for a minimum commitment of 12 months.

- You'll take part in a quick questionnaire to ask about any relevant medical conditions as unfortunately given the nature of the role in smelling products, we cannot work with anyone with allergies or pregnant etc.
- As long as there are no conditions that would prevent you from joining, you'll be invited to an open day at our client's premises in Southall (near Costco/Tesco) on 20th September. During this event, we'll assess your ability to detect and describe scents accurately.
- Successful candidates will proceed to full training and the main evaluation panel.
