Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Coventry- £80,000-100,000
The Company:
Lorien are working in partnership with one of the UK's largest building societies based in Coventry. Due to ongoing transformation work, we need a Principal Engineer to join the team and guide them through this exciting time.
The Role:
This role will span Engineering, Architecture, Consultancy and Leadership. Whilst remaining hands-on with the complex delivery, you'll also be the liaison for the architecture department, ensuring their designs are fit for purpose. As a consultant, you'll float between the team's projects providing expert insight and best practice advice.
We're looking for someone who understands the complexities of working at scale with these technologies, with a breadth of knowledge across key components that make up the Microsoft Technology stack.
The Requirements:
- Proven experience operating as a Lead/Principal Infrastructure Engineer, advising on complex project upgrades and fault remediation
- Expert configuration and architecture experience of Microsoft Windows Server technologies
- Expert understanding of Active Directory architecture (EntraID and on-premise)
- Good knowledge of Azure IaaS services and some understanding of AWS is also helpful
- Has an appreciation for working at scale, preferably within regulated environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities
