Telemarketing Executive - FF&E Workplace

General Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of the Telemarketer is ultimately to qualify leads and make appointments for the sales team to visit potential new clients.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is multifunctional and will involve dealing with all customer groups in a strategic fashion with business development and long-term client retention being the main function.

This opportunity will give the successful candidate an exceptional platform to create and build their own role within the business in the medium to long term with the full backup and support of everyone within the business.

You will be working as part of a team to develop a sales and market share in the commercial office arena.

Principally responsible for the development of projects, relationships and sales in the commercial segment of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Research leads generated by the networkers that have been placed on the database.
  • Make telephone contact with these leads to qualify, if appropriate and whenever possible make appointments for the sales team.
  • Manage the future prospect bank by keeping the database up to date.
  • Ensure that the architecture of the database is updated and observed.
  • Put appointment packs together for the sales team prior to client visits.
  • Build relationships with the networkers and sales teams to gain feedback post appointments and update the database with notes and diarise any future actions.
  • Attend weekly internal review meetings to discuss 'hot lists', opportunities, and pipelines.
  • Attend networking events
  • Work with the sales team to target sales initiatives and drives to generate revenue exposure with CRM system to develop agreed sales strategy

Professional Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to build internal and external relationships, both face to face and remotely.
  • Basic telesales training is essential (open, investigate, qualify & close).
  • Proven track record of making sales appointments.
  • Database experience essential, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics or similar
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent telephone manner
