Senior Science Technician | South East London | Septmeber Start
Great opportunity for an experienced Science Technician for a full time post starting in September at a secondary school in South East London.
We are ideally looking for a degree qualified candidate to support the busy Science department and manage a team of technicians.
Other responsibilities within the role will include:
- Preparing apparatus, materials and solutions and equipment and apparatus for use in practical classes.
- Setting up and assisting with demonstrations
- Retrieving and clearing away apparatus
- Assisting in practical classes
- Maintaining stock levels
- Maintaining safe working environment
Within the Science department, you will be assisting teachers in preparing practical lessons and providing technical support where required. We are therefore looking for a technician who is a good team player and communicates well with staff.
Previous experience as a Science Technician within a school environment is essential to the role.
