Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their dedicated team.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:
- Writing, testing, and debugging embedded software for various applications.
- Being hands on with the design, build and test of products.
- Working to deadlines and schedules.
- Working with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintaining good version control.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong experience with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR...)
- Ability to use debugging tools and possess strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable
- Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics
- Ability to write code using best practice methods for the selected applications
- Experience with IoT & LoRa desirable
- Self-driven
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
