Would you describe yourself as an Accounts Receivable expert who has experience clearing extensive backlogs and collecting debt? Would you be interested in working for a large and complex organisation that offers professional development and growth? Are you looking for a role that asks you to be in office only one day per week?

Robertson Bell are supporting this organisation to recruit an Interim Accounts Receivable Officer on an initial three-month contract – which has the potential to be extended and for the right candidate, go permanent. The head office is based in East London and ask that all team members attend the office once a week.

The Interim Accounts Receivable Officer's responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of the sales ledger – clearing a backlog of unallocated payments, collecting late payments and reconciling the supplier accounts.
  • Assisting with month end reporting – focusing on accruals.
  • Monitoring the finance inbox and answering queries.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who has experience in either Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.

The successful Accounts Receivable Officer will have:

  • Experience working as part of a busy accounting team, with the skillset to allocate large amounts of cash quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using numerous financial accounting softwares and Excel.
