To support our new HR partnership and support structure, MSC are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to work with our senior management teams as the subject manager experience for people solutions.

Driving and aligning our HR strategy with business goals, you will work with senior management to establish workforce opportunities and assist with building high-performance team that support business growth.

Skills and experience you'll bring to us

You will demonstrate that you hold a strong blend of HR and commercial experience that has delivery proactive partnerships to achieve results within people strategies. You will have experience in positive stakeholder engagement acting as the internal HR consultant, identifying people opportunities, supporting and connecting change that drives strategic alignment.

Some of the key skills and characteristics we're looking for include:

  • Embedding a strategic approach to Hr through development of people, policies and ways of working
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and HR
  • Provide clear and expert advice on a range of HR issues including best practice, legislation and data interpretation
  • Horizon plan with key stakeholders and interpret business needs to provide collective short, medium and long term people solutions
  • Act as a change agent challenging the status-quo and providing clear rational that support people solutions
  • Coach and grow the capability of leadership teams to support delivery of HR initiatives and strategies.
  • Support the drive of the performance management strategy creating high-performance teams.
  • Work in partnership with the People Relations Manager to drive best practices in people management.

Technical Skills:

  • Substantial post qualification experience in HR generalist role with strategic HR focus
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of working experience/knowledge in some or all these specialist areas: HR Strategic planning, Resourcing and Talent planning, L&D, Performance management, employee engagement.
  • Proven record of managing business change from a point of issue identification through to post implementation and identified success
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and achievement of collaborate results
  • Ability to interpret data and drive people solutions with a level of data statistics
