Customer Retention Specialist

We are proud to be working with one of the UK's leading insurance companies as they look to recruit two committed Customer Support Specialists (renewals and retentions) for their Aylesbury based contact centre operation. This is a flexible hybrid role working Monday to Friday only, with shifts falling between 9am - 6pm. The client could consider fully remote for the right candidate.

Are you a customer centric support specialist with experience working in renewals and/or retentions?

Would you like to work with a leading brand that is truly passionate about its customers and service?

As a Customer Support and Retention Specialist, you will be speaking to existing customers seeking to either renew, cancel or change their policy. You must take pride in providing an efficient and effective service, delivering a suitable resolution in a timely and accurate manner. You will be able to demonstrate exemplary customer service, resilience and confidence. A passion for animal welfare along with some knowledge of insurance would also be advantageous.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience working in a customer focused environment, ideally a role dealing with insurance within a contact centre.

Must haves:

  • Inbound and outbound phone based customer service experience, ideally within sales, retentions and/or renewals.
  • Understanding and upholding company values, remaining professional at all times.
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to contact various parties and levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively handle objections.
  • Can work under pressure while maintaining an exemplary levels of customer services.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, recording and maintaining information accurately.
