Our Team

The Unsecured Lending team are well on their way to achieving their ambition to disrupt the market - smashing targets, winning industry awards and successfully building a credit card and Loans business but we're not done yet. We have big growth plans, and we can't do this without a truly awesome team of talented people to make it happen.

We are looking for a Business Operational and Change Specialist who also has experience of delivering and supporting unsecured lending product Operational management (BAU) and Strategic change to join our team. This role is delightfully surprising and rewarding, and we are looking for you to bolster our existing brilliant team with another systems expert, to help turn business strategies and goals into system or process solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and support the operational and technical implementation of major and crucial change as part of the Personal Loan product roadmap, this could relate to system and non-system change (i.e. multi-channel customer journeys, servicing, configuration and Customer Communications).
  • Translate business strategy design requirements into appropriate configuration within interfacing systems, checking that planned change produces the intended results and remains in line with the agreed unsecured lending risk appetite, strategy, and business rules.
  • Act as a primary consultant for Unsecured Lending business on projects/change to define, test and implement the required configuration to meet business requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business owners to help to drive and shape key business decisions on customer journey, commercial initiatives, strategy etc.
  • Support the control framework ensuring all system changes comply with required regulatory and policy requirements and support the execution of all relevant control framework elements.
  • Delivering strategic initiatives and training junior team members to be able to complete the tasks associated with the initiative through well written procedure documents and coaching. This includes providing procedure documents and training sessions for customer agents and teams.
  • Ensure development best practices are followed when delivering solutions, requirements are documented, development is test driven and results/outputs are insightful and auditable.

We need you to have

  • The ability to deliver portfolio management strategy changes using your existing skills and turn Business requirements into technical changes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in problem solving.
  • Project or Change Management qualification or relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills - be able to communicate at all levels, translating the complex into simple in both your written and verbal updates.
  • Stakeholder management - being able to drive action and deliver outcomes.
  • Be an expert in working with financial core systems/Lending processing systems, with experience working in credit cards/ Loans / banking.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential:

  • Process management or reengineering experience.
