Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Principal Auditor based in Bexley. This is on a contract basis working full time hours.
The job:
- Support the Head of Assurance in Audit in the delivery of internal audits and counter fraud plans.
- Research, plan and prepare draft terms of reference in respect of audit assignments for approval by the Audit Manager or Head of Assurance.
- Plan audit work, undertake follow-up reviews of audits, working closely with management to agree on improvement for the client.
- Develop audits, complete fieldwork and draft reports with minimal supervision.
The candidate:
- Experience of local government/local authority internal audit.
- Experience of report writing, completing internal auditwork and field testing.
- Extensive experience of risk based auditing, and carrying out review.
Our client can offer hybrid working, with the expectation of the candidate working one day a week from their offices. They would also prefer someone immediately available.
