Silver Swan is looking for a Housekeeper for a private household in South Kensington. Working for a family of four, this position can be either live-in or live-out. We're searching for an experienced and dedicated professional available to work five days a week, including weekends, with Monday and Tuesday off.
You will join a team including another housekeeper, a nanny, a PA, and a chef. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, dinner service, table setting and greeting guests. Specialist skills such as marble cleaning, silver polishing, and care for artwork and sculptures would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- All general housekeeping duties - ensuring the house is kept tidy, clean and in good order
- Laundry, Ironing and wardrobe management
- Dinner service / table setting
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Specialist skills, such as marble cleaning, silver polishing, care and attention with artwork/sculptures, knowledge of cleaning products would be a bonus
- Team player, experience working alongside another housekeeper
- Stock keeping / organisation skills
Ideal Candidate:
- Confident individual with exceptional attention to detail and anticipation skills
- Reliable, capable, and flexible; must be switched on and proactive
- Must possess the right to live and work in the UK
- Longevity and references from previous private household Housekeeping roles are essential
- Available to work weekends (Mondays and Tuesdays off)
Package:
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
- Working week consisting of 5-days, approximately 10 hours per day
- Live-in accommodation available, in a separate apartment next to the main residence
- Start date: ASAP
