Are you ready to lead a dynamic and fast-growing eCommerce team? Forward Role are supporting a UK leader within their eCommerce field as they look to hire their first ever internal SEO Specialist at a very exciting time of growth.
This role offers a unique blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, joining a small & lean team of three in Marketing – all of whom make a huge impact. You'll be accountable for driving online sales, boosting profit performance, and discovering new opportunities for digital growth. You'll be at the forefront of their digital strategy, driving online sales and boosting profit performance through SEO. You'll identify new opportunities to enhance digital presence and growth, leveraging your eCommerce expertise to make a significant impact in this incredible business
Your day to day:
- SEO Strategy Development: Craft and implement strategies to enhance search rankings and organic traffic.
- Keyword Research & Content Optimisation: Perform keyword research and optimize product listings, category pages, and website content.
- Collaborative Content Creation: Partner with the content team to produce SEO-friendly material.
- Technical SEO Management: Identify and fix issues related to site speed, mobile optimisation, and crawl errors.
- Performance Analysis: Use SEO tools and analytics platforms to track and report website performance.
- Link-Building: Develop and execute strategies to boost domain authority.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitors' SEO tactics.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Your skills & experience:
- Experience: 2-3 years of SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce.
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- E-Commerce Savvy: Knowledge of Magento, PPC campaigns (desirable), social media
- Reporting: Proficiency in using Magento and Google Analytics for insights and reporting.
