Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Monthly reporting and analysis – taking ownership of the monthly reporting process, analysing the numbers and identifying trends or discrepancies that need attention
- Collaborating with stakeholders and budget holders across various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Ad hoc project-based reporting, analysing monthly performance
- Reporting on balance sheets and profit and loss and providing key analysis on risks, opportunities and successes
- Overseeing the month-end reporting process, including revenue recognition, timesheet accruals, and extracting valuable insights for projects
- Actively seeking out opportunities for process improvements, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Business Partner / Finance Analyst / FP&A Accountant / Financial Planning and Analysis / Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant
- Qualified or part-qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- To be a confident communicator, able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
