About the Role:

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. From overseeing VAT returns to preparing monthly journal entries, you will be at the forefront of supporting our regional offices and contributing to their financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake VAT returns and ensure timely statutory payments (Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT).
  • Produce and maintain monthly reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
  • Manage the fixed assets register and conduct P&L and balance sheet reviews.
  • Prepare audit information and provide analysis for external auditors.
  • Update bank reconciliations weekly and prepare cash forecasts.
  • Implement credit control systems and produce weekly debtor reports.
  • Provide monthly receivables and payables summaries.
  • Serve as finance contact for internal and external queries.
  • Conduct ad-hoc overhead reviews and assist with financial controls and reporting.
  • Support quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and Expected Credit Loss calculations.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to train, develop, and support the management accounts team.
  • Experience of using Excel and accounting software such as Xero.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of IFRS is desirable.
