Harmonic are proud to be partnering up with the UK's leading toy and games industry player renowned for innovation and excellence? Our client is looking for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic team based in Cheadle.

Our client is a pioneering international company specializing in toys and games that bring joy and learning to people of all ages worldwide. With a commitment to creativity and quality, they are dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services that inspire fun and enrich lives.

As the Finance Business Partner, reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. You will lead the reporting process, developing insightful reports highlighting KPIs, metrics, and trends crucial to decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, monitor, and enhance sales reporting across various timelines (Daily, Weekly, month-end, Ad-Hoc) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Group stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met and foster collaborative relationships across departments.
  • Conduct detailed Stock Reports and Analysis to optimize inventory management and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, assisting in forecasts up to GM level to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Generate comprehensive E-Commerce Reports covering sales, margins, and trends to drive growth in online sales channels.
  • Take the lead on integrating Power BI for enhanced data visualization and reporting capabilities.
  • Prepare specialized reports such as Distribution, Warehouse, Freight, and Logistics Analysis to address specific business needs.

What our client would like to see (Essential):

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining financial models and systems to support robust reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Xero. Google Analytics or Tableau.
