Reed Accountancy is excited to represent a local client, based in the heart of Middlesbrough. Who are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Finance Assistant to join their vibrant and expanding team.
As Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department, ensuring a smooth operation of the company's financial activities and supporting in the day-to-day operations.
- Processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable
- Assisting with profit and loss as well as balance sheet analysis
- Reviewing loan registers and identifying re-payments
- Analysing company performance
- Assisting with budget preparation and cash flow management
- Manage and report project costs across our developments
- Conducting bank & intercompany reconciliations and ledger postings
- Preparing financial reports and statements including creditor payment forecasts
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Working closely with the finance manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters across all current and future Group companies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Sage Line 50 are paramount for this role.
