Job Opportunity: Family Law Solicitor (Public Law Focus)
A leading city centre law firm is looking for experienced Family Law Solicitors (Public Law) to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a varied caseload, with opportunities for hybrid working and career growth.
Role Overview:

Location: City Centre (conveniently located across from the court)

Caseload: 20-30 cases, predominantly public law

Work includes local authority fixed-fee cases, cases where social services have intervened, PLO work, special guardianship, and adoption cases.

Experience Required: Ideally 5 years PQE (flexibility either side)

Responsibilities: You will work closely with a legal assistant who handles all non-fee-earning tasks. Administrative support is shared across solicitors.

No BD/Management Required: Your focus will be on the cases. You'll manage your legal assistant but won't be required to manage juniors or do business development.
What We're Looking For:
- Attributes: Active on LinkedIn and professional networks, ideally with some connections in the family law space (court staff, guardians, etc.). Networking skills are essential for maintaining a strong client base.
- Background: Open to various backgrounds, though prior experience in public family law is preferred. Candidates with experience in special guardianship, leave to adopt, or local authority work are encouraged to apply.

Salary: Competitive, with offers starting at £50k+ depending on experience
