In this role, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and General Arrangement Drawings using Autodesk Inventor, ensuring the precise design of bespoke bulk handling systems. You'll also collaborate closely with internal departments to manage projects from concept to production, supporting the smooth execution of manufacturing processes
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer is a skilled Autodesk Inventor user with a strong background in mechanical engineering. They are a proactive team player with excellent time management skills, ready to take on challenging projects in a dynamic environment.
The Role:
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution throughout the manufacturing process.
- Create General Arrangement Drawings for bespoke bulk handling systems.
- Develop detailed drawings for structural sections, sub-assemblies, sheet metal patterns, and machined parts.
- Use Vault Pro software for file and revision control.
The Person:
- Technical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
- Experience in designing pneumatic circuits and control systems.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Vault Pro.
