Graduate Electronics Design Engineer - Southampton

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Electronics Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in Southampton.

The Role:

  • Design and develop high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various electronic products.
  • Utilise industry-standard PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer) to create schematics, layouts, and component placement.
  • Ensure PCB designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure PCB designs align with circuit functionality and performance goals.
  • Participate in PCB prototype development and testing to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Prepare documentation for PCB designs, including manufacturing files and assembly instructions.

The Person:

  • This is an ideal position for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in electronics and a passion for PCB Design and technology.
  • The successful candidate should possess a degree in Electronics or a related field.

Additional Information:

  • The advertised salary is a guide and is negotiable based on experience.
  • Working hours 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
  • This position is based onsite Monday to Friday, as the nature of the role does not allow for hybrid working.
