Homeless Support Worker Vacancies waiting to be filled
Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following positions available
Position: Homeless Support Worker
Location: Chester
Rate: £13.00 p /hour (PAYE, inc holiday pay)
Length: 6-8 weeks rolling
Hours: 36 hours p/week (rolling rota of early, mids, late shifts) 7.00am – 8.00pm,
including 1/3 weekends
The role will predominantly involve:
- Engaging with customers who are placed at the centre who are exiting sleeping rough
- Completeling Health and Safety checks and crisis management
- Working within the safeguarding protocols, working proactively by supporting and responding to issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults
- Completing robust triage to determine customer level of need and signposting to support services required
- Undertaking needs and risk assessments and co-creating support plans with the customer with an emphasis on achieving positive outcomes
- No caseload management
The successful candidate needs to have similar experience to the above, have an Enhanced DBS and be available to start within 1 week notice
