The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Warehouse / Logistics Operative to our client in Appleton Warrington on a permanent basis.
Our client is a small but friendly team who are looking for a warehouse operative to support the day to day operation!
Salary & Benefits:
Annual Salary - £24,918.40
- 40 hours per week on days, 8 hours work per day + breaks
Monday to Friday
(start time alternates weekly between 06:00 - 15:00 then 07:30 - 16:30 the following week)
- 23 days holiday + 8 days BH + "birthday" holiday, company pension + bonus scheme
Main tasks:
- Pick stock as prioritised in line with dispatch deadlines ensuring maximum customer
- satisfaction
- Replenish stock in the aisles to ensure continued picking efficiency's
- Offloading deliveries and locating in the Warehouse ensuring a high level of stock
- accuracy
- Checking and signing for deliveries in line with supplier documentation
- Highlighting any stock queries and shortages and updating the warehouse log with stock movements
- Optimise and suggest picking locations within the Warehouse
- To support in the identification and elimination of waste in all its forms, including loading waste in the appropriate skip ready for disposal
- Assist in loading stock in a controlled and efficient manner ready for customer delivery
- Ensure that current and future Health, Safety and Environment policy is adhered to
- continually support the creation of a centre of excellence culture
Skills / Experience
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit to carry / pack loads for delivery
- Good level of IT literacy
- Positive, "can do" and "gets it done" attitude
FLT license would be advantageous although training would be provided for the right
candidate
