On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Contract Administrator who will play a vital role in supporting both administrative and technical tasks. While primarily responsible for documentation and administrative duties, the role also offers opportunities for more advanced responsibilities over time.

Contracts Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place orders with suppliers to maintain stock levels for low and high-pressure injection lances, ensuring sufficient inventory to meet demand.
  • Retrieve and prepare parts from the stockroom for dispatch to fabricators.
  • Compile and send material certifications, along with other required documentation (e.g., test reports), to clients after project completion and product delivery.
  • Gather and organise purchase orders (POs), Certificates of Conformity, and related documents to assist Contract Engineers in processing client orders.
  • Handle the ordering process for standardised mixer designs, using fabricator-issued price lists for cost and specification references.
  • Generate foil labels for completed mixers, ensuring accurate information is applied before final product delivery.
  • Coordinate orders for steel or plastic nameplates from designated manufacturers, ensuring timely delivery for product assembly.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or engineering support role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of engineering processes, terminology, and documentation.
