About the client
Morgan Law is seeking an interim Internal Audit/Controls Manager for a charity in the London area.
Accountabilities
- Reporting to the Finance Director
- Develop and manage the internal audit plan, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives and risk profile
- Assess emerging risks and adjust audit plans as necessary to address changing business conditions
- Monitor compliance with; Donor contracts, Policies, Internal controls framework
- Finance System - Access Dimensions
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or similar qualification (qualification by experience would be considered)
- Demonstrable experience in internal/external audits (E)
- Experience dealing with donor contracts (E)
- Very recent experience working for a not for profit organisation/charity (E)
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
