Location: Hybrid to cover Wiltshire (1 day a week in Lyneham)
Salary: £42,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week

Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Curriculum Development Lead on a permanent basis due to growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and evaluate the curriculum for all programmes across the contract
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate a robust approach to the mapping of army led delivery to both the apprenticeship standards knowledge, skills & behaviours (KSBs) and awarding body assessments
- Ensure all curriculum related polices / procedures are up to date and in line with company, ESFA, Ofsted and customer requirements
- Support with the development and delivery of training to ensure all relevant business and army staff have the required understanding of the programmes
- Design, develop, maintain, and evaluate appropriate learning collateral in line with company, ESFA, Ofsted and customer requirements
- Provide support with the implementation, management and evaluation of multimedia learning, systems, and technologies
- Highlight any areas for improvement to the Quality Manager to ensure all programmes meet company, ESFA, Ofsted and customer requirements
- Achieve all agreed key performance indicators
- Provide project and bid support
- Promote the sharing of ideas and best across the contract to support the objective of becoming an "outstanding" provider
- Maintain a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) record that reflects company and industry requirements
- Promote the sharing of new and dynamic ideas across the contract
- Ensure Security, Health, and Safety, Environmental, Legal, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Welfare & Safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times within all areas of responsibility
- Support the contract in line with the corporate governance policies, processes and procedures including those relating to Health and Safety
- Other appropriate tasks that may be required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a curriculum development role
- Experience in content design & development
- Good understanding of work-based learning programmes
- An understanding of engineering qualifications and apprenticeships
- To have previously designed curriculums, taking a set on standards and creating a programme of delivery and content.
- To be able to look at what is currently being delivered on a programme and be able to see when that evidence can be utilised/RPL/mapped into another programme.
- Essential Qualifications: Engineering qualifications minimum level 3 - Preference to have a - mechanical engineering background however it isn't essential.
