Key Responsibilities:
- Take a proactive approach in managing hotel accounts to maximise revenue for corporate and groups and food & beverage
- Actively seek out new business opportunities within the local market across to meet hotel budget targets
- Maintain open communication with the General Manager to create a sales-driven culture and improve performance
- Identify and build relationships with local businesses to enhance brand visibility and increase direct bookings
- Market and sell hotel events within the local community, collaborating with destination organisations for effective outreach
- Assist in the development and execution of the sales & marketing plan
- Leverage local sales resources to drive customer engagement and community initiatives according to seasonal needs
What do you need to qualify for this role?
- It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required
- You will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment
- It is essential you are driven, very well presented personally, can act on your own initiative where appropriate
- Experience in working within a proactive sales role, with set targets and objectives
- Exhibit a methodical and systematic approach, maintaining high levels of organisation
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail
