Position: Part-Time Supply Teaching Assistant (KS1 and KS2)
Hours: 3 Days a Week
About Us:
Tradewind are looking for experienced and dedicated supply Teaching Assistants to support children in KS1 and KS2 across various primary schools in Sheffield. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in diverse educational settings, providing valuable support to students and teachers.
Role Overview:
As a Part-Time Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the classroom, supporting students' learning and development, and helping to create a positive and inclusive educational environment. You will work 3 days a week, filling in as needed across different schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students in KS1 and KS2.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students with special educational needs and adapt tasks to meet their individual needs.
- Assist with administrative tasks and the preparation of learning materials.
- Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in KS1 and KS2.
- Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively with various teams.
- Patience, reliability, and a passion for supporting children's education.
