Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school and running intervention sessions to address specific learning needs. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on student achievement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils across all key stages, providing academic and pastoral support as needed.
  • Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions to small groups or individual students, focusing on areas of need identified by class teachers.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of learning resources and materials.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school.
  • Supervise students during break times and other non-classroom activities as required.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Ability to plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions to address specific learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A positive and proactive approach to supporting student learning and well-being.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
  • hold an enhanced DBS on the update service.
