We are seeking a dedicated Production Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing team in the Life Science industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to improving manufacturing processes.

Our client is a leading entity in the Life Science industry, with offices and manufacturing sites globally. The company is renowned for its focus on scientific innovation with it's main manufacturing plant in Caerphilly.

Description

  • Enhancing manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement production improvements.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Participating in product development and enhancement initiatives.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and scheduling necessary maintenance.
  • Providing technical support and training to production staff.
  • Documenting and reporting on process changes and updates.

Profile

A successful Production Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Life Science industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

  • A salary range of £40,000 - £44,000 per annum.
