Experienced GDC Registered Dental Nurse - Private Practice - Letchworth Garden City
We are a well-established and expanding fully private dental practice based in Letchworth Garden City, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Position Details:
- Hours: Ideally full-time (3-5 days per week); we can offer flexibility for the right candidate
- Key requirement: Must be available to work Thursdays and Fridays
- Rate: £13.00-£16.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside assistance across a range of procedures including general dentistry, root canal treatments, implants, orthodontics, x-rays, and scanning
- Decontamination and sterilisation duties in line with CQC compliance
- Accurate record-keeping and patient support before, during and after treatment
- Supporting clinicians with surgical and cosmetic procedures where required
- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice as part of a larger multidisciplinary team
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Previous experience in a private dental setting is advantageous
- Confident using dental software; knowledge of SFD preferred but full training can be provided
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care
