PE teacher - Rochdale - November
Prospero Teaching are looking for a PE Teacher for a Secondary school in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The role will start from after the October half term and will be full time and will continue for the remainder of the academic year until July 2025.
The school has a very supportive PE department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.
You will be required to teach classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4. It would be advantageous if you have coached a netball, hockey or rounders team.
The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Minimum rate of pay GBP162 per day
Hours 8:30 am 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS or equivalent
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
