Senior Client-Side Property Manager

We've recently taken on a new position working client-side for a Senior Property Manager based in Southeast London.

Details:

  • Our client is offering a salary of £60K - £75K depending on your level of experience.
  • Our client is looking for a strong background in block/ estate management or experience working with a developer - Minimum 3 years experience
  • Have excellent legislation knowledge.
  • Experience with service charge budgets and section 20
  • Knowledge of Building Safety Regulations.
  • Experience working with high-end developments and new builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Broad understanding of the construction process for residential and commercial buildings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in maintaining or delivering high-quality residential and/or commercial developments.
  • Proven management and leadership skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Business acumen and commercial judgment.
  • Passion for delivering and maintaining high-quality developments.
  • Action/results-oriented.
  • Oversee the ongoing management of developments to maintain excellence.
  • Audit and manage appointed managing agents.
  • Ensure effective financial management of all developments by the managing agents, including monthly finance meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with the Landlord and Tenant Act and Building Safety Act
  • Ensure statutory inspections of plant and machinery on all developments are conducted and reported, and ensure managing agents comply with requirements and recommendations.
  • Ensure insurance coverage for all completed buildings, estate buildings, land, and car parks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years Block Management experience, including section 20s and service charge budgets
  • Experience working with New Build Developments
  • Experience of working alongside Developers
  • Previous experience managing a range of developments
  • Excellent customer service, IT and communication skills
