Our client is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Reporting Manager to join their Group Finance Department. This role offers an attractive salary range of £60,000 - £65,000 and is based in Oldham. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing financial policy, maintaining a robust internal control framework, and ensuring timely completion of all internal control processes and external compliance requirements.

What you'll do:

As a Risk and Reporting Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the Group Financial Controller in developing and implementing financial policies and controls. You will ensure that all internal control processes are completed accurately and on time, while also meeting external compliance requirements. Your role will involve producing monthly and annual management accounts information for several Head Office companies. You will take the lead in managing the external audit relationship, assisting with the delivery of consolidated Group accounts. Additionally, you will spearhead the internal audit programme, planning and coordinating an internal team to work with local businesses. Your role will also require close collaboration with insurance brokers and site financial controllers to gather relevant information for the Group's insurer and reinsurance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Risk and Reporting Manager position should hold a formal accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. You should have experience in a finance role or as an auditor for an international business. Strong IT skills across a range of programs and systems are essential for this role. You should possess technical capability in areas of reporting compliance and internal control. Experience working to tight deadlines is crucial as well as having a task-oriented approach.
