Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 2 teacher for a 'Good' primary school in Salford starting in September 2024. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher. You will need to have taught in Key Stage 1 or completed a teaching placement in Key Stage 1. Excellent understanding of assessment and differentiation is essential order to enable the children to make progress at the best possible rate.
The successful ECT or experienced teacher will need to have a strong understanding of the curriculum for this age group, and be an engaging teacher who can enthuse and motivate the children with their learning. A creative approach to teaching, and the ability to make innovative links between subjects, is required.

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in KS1 and have knowledge of KS1 statutory assessment. You will also need to have up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training. You can undertake free courses with Prospero Teaching if you do not have valid Safeguarding or Prevent certificates.
