**Look no further! **We are seeking a dedicated A Level Geography Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis for maternity cover until July 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in Geography or a related subject.
A Level Geography Teacher
- Job Type: Part-time (Friday non-working day)
- Location: East London
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year
- Working Days: Monday to Thursday
- Pay: £160-£200pd
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and informative lessons to A Level Geography students.
- Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that reflect the curriculum.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Creating a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Geography or a related subject.
- A PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching A Level Geography.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
- Ehnanced DBS on the updated service
