Purchase Ledger Administrator

Our client, a market leader in their sector, are looking for an organised, detail oriented individual to join their purchase ledger function. Initially on a temporary basis with a potential to become permanent.

Are you able to contribute to a dynamic team, work under pressure in a busy functional purchase ledger function, to ensure the critical functions of the business, then this role might be for you?

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to your role
  • Well organised and ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience and proficient in Sage and Microsoft Office suit of programs
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Purchase Ledger essential

Within this position, you'll also be:

  • Ensuring accuracy, inputting and reconciling data in excel spreadsheets
  • Using various supplier portals to obtain invoices
  • Ensuring and matching delivery notes with supplier invoices
  • Completing supplier reconciliations to ensure the systems correspond with each other
  • Resolving any invoice queries within a timely manner
  • Working to ensure all ISO procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Ensuing you have a full knowledge of the product offerings
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Inputting purchase ledger information into Sage and other systems
  • Coding invoices that do no have purchase order numbers on
  • Handling, filling and organising financial documents
  • Ensuring full collaboration with the finance team

Salary & Working Hours

  • Salary is £12.50 per hour
  • Monday to Friday – 8am - 4:30pm or 9am- 5:30pm
