TPP are recruiting a Database Manager on behalf of our client, a humanitarian organisation known for their collaborative efforts in responding to global disasters.

The Role:

As a Database Manager, you will be instrumental in pivotal in managing and developing their Salesforce CRM system to meet the needs of the client's evolving fundraising strategies. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance data strategy, ensure data integrity, and drive performance across all fundraising activities.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead the continuous development of the CRM system, ensuring it aligns with fundraising and marketing objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on data strategy, promoting best practices across departments to optimise supporter engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Data Protection and Fundraising Regulations, maintaining high standards of data quality and security.
  • Manage reporting, analysis, and data selections to boost income generation and improve supporter retention.
  • Line management of the Database Officer including conducting annual Performance Development Review.

Essential requirements:

  • Strong experience in database management, particularly with cloud-based CRMs like Salesforce.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of building effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
  • A collaborative team player, committed to values of accountability, transparency, and humanitarianism.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
