We are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to handle a full spectrum of commercial property fee-earning work. This role requires a candidate who can operate unsupervised and is committed to contributing to the firm's growth in line with our business plans.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Independently manage client files including sales and purchases, Landlord and Tenant matters, Bank funding, and pension purchases.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures (Lexcel and SRA Code of Conduct).
  • Generate fee income and manage time recording, work in progress, billing, and cash collection to meet targets.
  • Engage in business development opportunities and actively promote the firm.
  • Provide supervision and support for colleagues' fee-earning work during absences.
  • Participate in marketing activities and maintain a high standard of client care.
  • Manage correspondence and documents through the case management system.
  • Handle filing, including the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
  • Attend and participate in group meetings and maintain a network of contacts and referrers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be an admitted solicitor with 5+ years PQE.
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial property law.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in IT and telephone systems relevant to modern legal practice.
